Tears of a Dragon is the fourth and final installment in the Dragons in our Midst series by Bryan Davis. Billy and Bonnie had victory in the Circles of Seven, but, at the price of freedom, they let loose a vicious evil that wants to destroy the world with the help of their evil mistress, Morgan Le Faye.
Billy is concerned for his dragon father, Clefspeare, who is missing. Billy and Bonnie must go into a war against the Watchers, demonic beings as old as the earth itself. With their skills of deception, the Watchers gather most of mankind on their side.
The wise friends of dragons, unite together in the constant struggle against the Watchers. In order to possibly win the war, one of the dragons must die. Will they ever find the great dragon Clefspeare? What choice will everyone make in order to save the world? Will any of them live to see the dawn?
This is a great book that puts an end to the Dragons in out Midst series with some questions looming over to make you want to read the sequel series, Oracles of Fire. I highly recommend this book to everyone. the suspense will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat.
As usual, there is a lesson. This lesson is about the love of a friend. Everyone, including Billy, Bonnie, Ashley, Walter, and more, were faced with several decisions where they had to make hard choices. This reminds of a verse in the Bible in Proverbs 17:17:
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
A friend should always express their love towards one another. My best Friend expresses His love to me everyday. He whispers His love towards us in the silent green grass and sings song to us from the musical birds. He watches us wake up every morning and wishes we would talk to Him. We hurt Him, yes, but He still loves us. God will always be with us and He always loves us.
Speaking of friends, Araken and Shelby Marie, thank you for making these first two weeks of blogging so worthwhile. Also, Araken's birthday is in four days! Yay! If Araken had not responded on my first blog I would have quit blogging and thrown in the towel. Plus, it is also nice having Shelby Marie as someone else on here:) Thanks for reading and please comment!
God bless you!

[blushes] That's really nice. I like your reviews, makes me think I should do Dragons in Our Midst.
I didn't know that. I'm glad I decided to respond. I got a friend out of the deal. Not bad, [strokes chin thoughtfully] not bad at all. :)
After the release of hundreds of Watchers from Hades, the remaining nine dragons prepare for war against overwhelming odds. But when Billy and Bonnie enter Dragon’s Rest in search of Billy’s father, tragedy strikes. Even when the battle’s over, dragons and anthrozils face the toughest choice of their lives. Remain dragons, or become fully human? This ending made me cry. I really enjoyed the whole series and was sad to see it draw to a close. But the adventures continue with Oracles of Fire
